A divine connection

Dear Family and Friends,

Good February to you all from Chiapas.

As we continue building our second casita, HOME to our first group of young women, we also continue to pray daily for the team the Lord wants to build around us. We have known from the start that we would not do this alone, and He has faithfully called so many of you to be a part of this project.

God is answering our prayers. I'm excited to share an amazing new development that we see as truly a Divine Connection. Through a need for a veterinarian for our sweet dog Blak, we were able to share our reason for being here in Las Margaritas and the purpose and vision of Reina’s Hope. Our doctor was very excited and said we must meet his daughter—who happens to be a psychologist working in a government orphanage—who happens to be the director and administrator—and happens to work with young teens.

A few weeks later we met her and found her to be delightful and so knowledgeable. After hearing more about our project she was excited to provide us with valuable resources and introductions. She also wanted to come out to see the ranch to learn more!

Later, we went to visit her at the orphanage to see her program. I happened to notice several Scriptures on her office walls as well as on her info page.
Lo and behold...she is a born-again believer, truly in love with Jesus!

She then introduced us to her sister, who happens to be a physician who specializes working with women. We brought both of them out to the ranch, gave them a tour of the Casita, and shared more about the vision of Reina’s Hope. Both were extremely excited about the possibilities for how they might assist us!

Then they invited us to visit their church. We immediately felt right at home there. The worship was lively, powerful, and life-giving. The preached Word was even more powerful. We met the pastor and his family, who were also extremely excited about Reina’s Hope and made themselves available for anything we might need.

All just a coincidence?  I think not. I think it’s pretty wild and so amazing.
Who knows if the Lord will link us together in the near future? We could certainly use their skills for all our young ladies who will soon be on their way.

Please join us in prayer that the Lord would continue to build our team, and this entire vision into what He wants it to be.

Thank you, and love you all so much!

Until They All Come Home,
Michael and Celeste Peters
