We are here, and waiting for you.
We have made the move!
It's been a work in progress, but we are now officially residents of the Aguas Sagradas Ranch, in Las Margaritas, Chiapas Mexico. For the past 3 years we have been hauling down our home decorations, bedding, kitchen utensils, pots and pans - virtually everything we needed to furnish a new home. Now it's time to organize.
When we decided to built this first home, Casita No. 1 (aka the "Ashley House") we knew it would serve several purposes.
For the immediate future, it will serve as our home, and as a guest home for all of our visitors. You are invited!
We will reside here as we oversee the construction of Casita No. 2 now underway, (aka the "Martita Casita") which can house the first 8 young ladies who will be coming here to live, heal, grow, and be prepared for a meaningful and impactful life.
The next project - the Main House - once completed, will be where all of the dining and family activities will occur. We will then move into that home in order to be available to engage with the girls on a daily basis, doing life together.
Casita No.1 (The Ashley House) will then serve to house our guests - that would be you all.
And from day one, Celeste has always wanted to create a beautiful accommodation for pastors and missionaries to come for rest and rejuvenation, and to create a place for couples to come for weekend or week-long retreats and ministry. This first Casita will serve many meaningful purposes of the years to come.
THANK YOU, to the many of you who have come along side of us and contributed to this milestone. But this is just the first of many that are ahead of us. There is so much more that we need to accomplish. But we are grateful that God has brought us to this significant step, and is preparing us for those that are ahead.
Construction of Casita No. 2 is progressing daily. The photos below may only excite the engineers and builders who receive this, but we hope you all can appreciate the complexity that goes into planning, designing, and finally constructing an excellent and suitable home for these young ladies - princesses of our God and Father, who will be coming to live here.
As we have mentioned previously (and so many of you have generously responded ), we are in the midst of a fundraising campaign to cover the substantial increased construction costs for Casita no. 2 and to Increase our monthly support base.
These are our current needs:
The increased cost of construction for Casita #2, now under way, will require an additional $93,000.00, Yes, construction costs in Mexico have accelerated on pace with the US and the rest of the world!
We need to increase our monthly and annual revenues to cover the anticipated costs to support the first girls who will move into Casita No. 2.
To help cover our living costs now that we have relocated full time to Mexico.
To cover the anticipated increased staffing needs once we welcome the first girls to the ranch.
