Amazing Educational Opportunities

“Location, Location, Location.”

That's an expression most commonly associated with real estate. We continue to discover how fortunate we have been when we committed to purchase the Aguas Sagradas ranch in Las Margaritas, Chiapas, Mexico.

After our initial research, we had a positive sense of the educational opportunities available here in Las Margaritas and nearby larger cities. High-caliber educational opportunities for our girls were a critical factor in choosing our location because we firmly believe that quality education is an essential element to their success.

Our program director, Estefania, had been researching all of the available high school options. We were able to enroll Miriam and Flori into one of the best programs, and it was located right here in Margaritas. We were also able to secure the skilled services of Jessica, our tutor, who was trained specifically in assisting students behind grade level. She is here three days a week with individualized education programs, specifically designed for each of our girls to bring them up to speed.

Our Tamara presented a whole different challenge. We are still researching her particular "syndrome." Although she is 14 years old (with the sweetest heart and attitude, always wanting to help in any way she can), we estimate her mental capacity to be similar to an 8-year-old.

Our search for suitable education options was also met with divine intervention. Who would have guessed that in this little town, a top-notch, diverse, special-needs school would exist? We were so impressed when we interviewed the director and learned about their program. Tamara began classes just a few weeks ago and comes home every afternoon excited and grateful.

We were so aware of many of the advantages of locating where we did when, by faith, late in 2016, we made the commitment to purchase this ranch. We are equally grateful as we continually discover the other hidden blessings of this "Location, Location, Location."
